Difficulty in swallowing

Swallowing the food will be difficult for the patients who are affected with the malignant mesothelioma. Patients usually suffer from the difficulty breathing (DYSPNEA), Eating or swallowing, nausea or vomiting, dry mouth or a sore throat. Many individuals who have been diagnosed with mesothelioma may taste the food different and they may simply doesn't have the desire to eat. Proper nutritional care should be maintained by the mesothelioma patients due to this difficulty in swallowing problem as it should be noted that having a good nutritional food can help you feel better in the future and strengthens the health.

Pleural effusions

Pleural effusion is the common symptom of mesothelioma cancer. Lots of fluid will be formed in pleura, between the lung and chest cavity because malignant mesothelioma. When this Pleural Mesothelioma occurs the patients will suffer from hard breathing. This problem of hard breathing is also known as 'DYSPNEA'. In some cases pain may also occur while breathing. This is called as pleural effusion.

Chest and back pain

60 percent of mesothelioma will be affected to the right lung, which causes the pain more often in the right lung. In very rare cases mesothelioma will get affected in both the lungs. The ratio of occurrence of mesothelioma for both lungs is only 5 percent. The fluids formed under the lining of lungs and chest cavity creates the sensation of the pressure and fullness in the affected areas. This results in the pain in the cavity of the chest and occasionally pain in the lower back area as well.

Breathing difficulty

Due to the formation of the fluids in the pleura, and presence of tumors in between the lining of the chest cavity and lungs, the shortness in breathing problems occurs very often. These conditions have the potential to restrict the proper functioning of the lungs.

Chronic Hoarseness

Another symptom is that people affected by mesothelioma will be suffering from a hoarse or husky voice. This will result in developing a sensation of having a sore throat. Frequent coughing can also be occurred due the development of mesothelioma cancer.

Swelling of the Face and Arms

When cancer is spreading beyond the mesothlium, causes swelling in the face and Arms.
